Chiropractic care · Victoria

Hands-on chiropractic care for backs, necks and joints that have stopped cooperating.

We examine how your spine and joints actually move, explain what we find in plain language, and treat what the examination shows.

How this practice works

Three commitments that shape every appointment

i.

Examination before adjustment

Care opens with a history, a standing postural screen and an active movement examination. Nothing is adjusted before it has been examined.

ii.

Findings in plain language

You are told which joints and soft tissues are involved, what the likely drivers are, and what the plan is — before any hands go on.

iii.

Care with a review point

A defined block of appointments with a review built in, so it is clear whether care is working and when it should stop or change.

What we treat

Complaints we see most often

Musculoskeletal complaints of the spine, pelvis and peripheral joints — assessed, explained and treated by hand.

Spinal assessment and adjustment

Segment-by-segment examination of the spine and pelvis, followed by manual adjustment and mobilisation of the joints that are not moving as they should.

Neck pain, jaw tension and headaches

Cervical spine and upper-rib assessment for stiff, aching necks and the headaches that track from the base of the skull.

Desk posture and workplace strain

For the mid-back and shoulder complaints that build over a working week — assessment, treatment and a workstation and movement plan you can actually keep.

A course of care

What happens, and in what order

Four stages, run in sequence. You are told at each one what was found and what comes next.

01

Examination

History, postural screen, and an active and passive movement examination of the spine, pelvis and any joint you name.

02

Findings

What was found, what it means, what chiropractic care can and cannot help with, and a referral onward where that is the right answer.

03

Treatment

Manual adjustment, mobilisation and soft-tissue work, matched to the findings and revised as you respond between appointments.

04

Review

A scheduled re-examination against the original findings, with the loading and movement work that holds the result in place.

Your first appointment

Come in with the questions you have been carrying

Most people arrive having already tried rest, a heat pack and a stretch found on their phone. The first appointment exists to work out why the complaint has not settled: what aggravates it, what relieves it, which joints and tissues are involved, and whether it is a problem that belongs with a chiropractor at all.

Wear clothing you can move in. Bring any imaging, referral letters or specialist reports you already have — they save time and change what we look for.
